Organising Makeup

- I am currently packing to move into a flat with my boyfriend, which means I need to sort everything. I haven't yet started my new job so have time to pack and sort both of our belongings. Apparently he really does need 5 candle holders and a random statue of Buddha.
- Not having a fixed "home" for the past two years have meant my makeup has been in my handbag, random bags or just lost in the boxes in my room. I have started the throw away and sort procedure but as I am not going to have much time to myself over the next week, staying with my sister, decided to do a little "my makeup" series and will schedule a few posts over the next week
- Anyone got any wonderful ideas for storing makeup? I bought some small drawers from Poundland on the advice of Claire but they are out of control now!

  1. I had to buy storage for my makeup when I moved flats too, I bought a set of drawers in the sale from WHSmiths! But it is so limiting I'm running out of space!! I wish I had a whole room dedicated to makeup and beauty products x

  2. i think I might have to get some storage boxes when I move in with the boy, I don't think he'll appreciate me having all my make up all over the place like I do now lol!

  3. I have a set of 3 pink drawers which I got from a local shop and split the drawers between face, eyes/lips then skincare. They're convenient but not very aesthetically pleasing so I'm looking into getting a better storage system.

  4. For me, I usually organise it over 3 different bags, one little one for favourites/every day, one larger bag or box for bits you occasionally use and another bag or box for special items you don't use very often but still love. If you wanted something a bit more all in one Ikea sell a big boxes with draws which sit nicely on dressing tables. x
